Custom SKÅDIS bins for screws, bits and small parts

Small parts are where stock bins give up: compartments too wide for M2 screws, too shallow for dupont jumpers, too deep to fish out an SMD strip. When the bin is generated to the part, the part stops disappearing.

What to build

Screw sorter·100 × 40 × 40 mm, 4 × 2 grid, scoop front
Bit holder·80 × 35 × 35 mm, 6 columns
Jumper wires·120 × 50 × 45 mm, 2 rows
SMD strips·140 × 30 × 25 mm, shallow scoop

Set it up

Start from the part: measure the largest screw or strip, add clearance, and split the bin into compartment columns and rows so each size gets its own slot. Per-compartment sizing lets one bin hold M2s next to M5s without wasted width. Download the STL, and when the assortment changes, change the numbers and print again.
